It also pledged to provide full consular assistance to the student's family in handling follow-up matters.    According to Yonhap News Agency, the student entered South Korea on Aug. 14 to collect her graduate school diploma and lost contact with her family after traveling to Daegu on the evening of Aug. 20. South Korean police apprehended the suspect in Gyeongsan, North Gyeongsang Province, on Aug. 25 and later found the student's body at his residence.    Police said the suspect, who had identified himself as the student's boyfriend, was also the person who initially reported her missing.
